Privacy Policy
Applies to BookedUp and other apps by Paradox Data Systems LLC. Last updated October 25, 2026.
Our apps keep your information on your own device. We don’t run servers that store your data, and we don’t sell or share it.
What BookedUp stores, and where
- Your business details, services, prices, hours, locations, appointments, client names, phone numbers and emails, notes, sales, expenses, mileage and inventory are saved only on your device.
- Photos you pick (receipts, your logo, payment QR codes) are copied into the app’s own storage on your device.
- If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it, except backup files you saved elsewhere yourself.
Backups
BookedUp can save a backup file of your data once a day. The file is kept in the app’s own folder on your device, which your phone’s own backup (iCloud or Google) may include. On Android you can also choose a folder, such as Google Drive, and you can save a copy anywhere you like with the share sheet. Those copies are stored by the service you choose, under that service’s privacy policy. We never receive them.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no sign-in, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking. We never receive your data or your clients’ data.
Text messages
When you send a confirmation, reminder, cancellation or payment text, the app opens your phone’s own Messages app with the text ready. You send it yourself, through your phone carrier. BookedUp doesn’t send texts through any outside service.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your phone. They aren’t sent through our servers.
Payments
BookedUp never handles card numbers or money. Payment buttons and QR codes open apps like Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Square or Zelle, which have their own privacy policies. BookedUp only records how you were paid.
Permissions
- Photos, to pick a receipt, logo or payment QR code.
- Camera, to take a photo of a receipt.
- Contacts, only if you choose to import people from your contacts. The names, numbers and emails you pick are copied into the app on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Notifications, to remind you about appointments and tasks.
- Files, only when you choose a backup folder or a backup file to restore.
You can turn any of these off in your phone’s settings.
Children
Our apps are business tools and aren’t directed at children under 13.
Changes
If a future version adds features that store data online (for example, syncing between devices), we’ll update this policy before that feature is released and say what is stored and where.
